Education is the only way to truly break the poverty cycle.
In Honduras children are required to wear a school uniform including a white collared shirt, blue slacks or skirts for girls, and black leather shoes.  This requirement means that many children living in poverty cannot afford to attend.
We have committed to providing uniforms and supplies for our borrowers children while they are actively making loan payments.  Borrowers understand that we expect them to be able to provide this for their children in the future.  In this way, we are not creating dependency.
If you would like to sponsor a child’s school uniform and supplies, plus a gift for them on their birthday and at Christmas for the 2023/2024, it will be the most rewarding donation you ever make.

For privacy reasons, we don’t include children’s photos on our website but after you sponsor a child you will receive their photo and additional information.
